A new way to see and explore Ireland.
A geo-spacial app to help tourist and locals explore all the highlights Ireland had to offer. I was tasked with wireframing the UI and user journey as well as completing the final design and ensuring all assets were mobile ready.
Wireframing allowed us to define the scope of the project while also exploring the various user journeys of the app and to identify user experience issues early on.
After extensive design presentations and user testing sessions a bright and colourful design was chosen. It was seen as refreshing and avoided any traditional Irish design clichés.
A bold typographic style was used throughout from menus to lists.
Since users could choose a location to search from it was made clear that it must be obvious where your current location was set to. This was made clear in the UI.
The app also featured an augmented reality mode where any nearby attractions were highlighted.
